Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Katie...

I’m sure you’ve all seen variations of the email go around where you’re asked a series of questions about yourself and then are supposed to reply to the person who sent it to you and forward it on to your friends. I admit I’ve done it a few times between friends and have enjoyed reading the replies that came back. Recently, a friend sent me this email again and this time suggested that rather than reply via email, I post the responses to this blog in order to share a little more about me with all of you.

1. What time did you get up this morning? 7:38 - the joys of a digital clock.

2. Diamonds or pearls? Diamonds.

3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema?  X-Files I Want To Believe, sadly it was quite disappointing.

5. What do you usually have for breakfast? Coffee, two creams, two Splenda packets.

6. What is your middle name? Leigh.

7. What food do you dislike? Anything that swims.

8. What is your favorite CD at the moment? Don’t really have one, I listen to podcasts and singles on my iPod.

9. What kind of car do you drive? Toyota Avalon.

10. Favorite sandwich?Larry’s Giant Subs Turkey with provolone.

11. What characteristic do you despise? Laziness.

12. Favorite item of clothing? My Arizona Birkenstocks from 2002 - so comfy!

13. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go? I’d kinda like to go on a white water rafting trip down the Grand Canyon.

14. Favorite brand of clothing? Eddie Bauer.

15. Where would you retire to? Wherever my family is.

16. What was your most recent memorable birthday? When I was 10, my parents turned our back yard into a small carnival with a jumping room and game stations complete with Dollar Store prizes. The big surprise was I got tickets for my first concert, Billy Joel’s Storm Front Tour, for the same night.

17. Favorite sport to watch? Gymnastics during the Olympics. Not a big sports fan.

18. Furthest place you are sending this? I’m not. But I do have a readers from all over the world, so who knows.

19. Person you expect to send it back first? Not sure...

20. When is your birthday? July 8.

21. Are you a morning person or a night person? Morning.

22. What is your shoe size? 11 - Yes, I’m serious. No comments please.

23. Pets? None, not really a pet person.

24. Any new and exciting news you'd like to share with us? Not at this time, stay tuned.

25. What did you want to be when you were little? Astronaut.

26. How are you today? Fine, thanks.

27. What is your favorite candy? Those Brachs candies you can buy at the grocery store. I like the chocolate bits and chocolate covered toffee.

28. What is your favorite flower? White roses.

29. What is a day on the calendar you are looking forward to? In the near future, September 20th. I’m having a garage sale with friends to raise money for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

30. What is your favorite pastime? Podcasting.

31. What are you listening to right now? Buzz Out Loud 808: Apple, give us our Podcaster!

32. What was the last thing you ate? 1905 Salad from Columbia House - Yum!

33. Do you wish on stars? No.

34. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Blue.

35. How is the weather right now? Hot, hot, hot.

36. The first person you spoke to on the phone today? No one yet, does IM count? :)

37. Favorite soft drink? I don’t like soft drinks.

38. Favorite restaurant? It’s a toss-up. Stonewood or Macaroni Grill.

47. What is under your bed? Tupperware bins with miscellaneous cables and software boxes.

48. What did you do last night? Watched 21 on the Apple TV.

49. What are you afraid of ? Loosing my family.

50. Salty or sweet? Depends, usually sweet.

51. How many keys on your key ring? Too many - 8.

52. How many years at your current job? Just over a year.

53. Favorite day of the week? Saturday.

54. How many towns have you lived in? 2.

55. Do you make friends easily? No.
